Tucker Carlson called Putin the most popular leader in the world
Russian President Vladimir Putin is the most popular leader in the world. This opinion was expressed on October 27 by American journalist Tucker Carlson in an interview with RTVI TV channel.
"He's the most popular leader in the world, and by a wide margin," Carlson emphasized.
According to him, the Russian leader is loved both in the English-speaking world and beyond, because he put the interests of the Russian Federation above his own, "unlike Western leaders."
On July 29, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Pyotr Tolstoy said that the majority of participants in the VI World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments in Geneva love Russia and consider Putin and his policies to be a role model.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on July 2 that Putin maintains dialogue even with those parties with whom the volume of disagreements is critically high. He stressed that the president's approach was in line with Russia's interests.
